Times ágeis globais falam uma linguagem específica. Usar termos incorretos ou 'portunglês' não só confunde - transmite falta de experiência com metodologias ágeis. Aqui está o vocabulário que você precisa dominar.

Vocabulário Essencial

Comparativo: como um iniciante diria vs. como um executivo nativo diria

Sprint

A time-boxed iteration, typically 2 weeks, where a potentially shippable increment is created.

"We are in the two-week cycle now."

Backlog Refinement / Grooming

Increment

The sum of all completed Product Backlog items during a Sprint.

Any obstacle that prevents the team from completing work.

Definition of Done (DoD)

Phraseology Tips

  • Use 'time-box' as a verb: 'Let's time-box this discussion to 5 minutes'
  • Say 'commit to' not 'promise': 'We can commit to 6 stories this sprint'
  • Frame problems as 'impediments' or 'blockers' - it's less personal
  • Use 'potentially shippable' to describe increment quality
